CNC Operator/Machinist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining, with the ability to operate CNC machines effectively. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using tools such as bore gauges and calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC machining with hands-on experience operating various types of CNC equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming is highly desirable.
• Experience in electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of basic math concepts for precise measurements and calculations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
