Position Summary:
Fenton Rigging & Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager that will be responsible for overseeing project specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets, and strategy. The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage other Project Managers to perform bid reviews, job cost analysis, schedule creation, and post-job assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Review bid opportunities and proposals with both internal and external team members and clients.
- Establish project goals, milestones, and a project schedule.
- Assist the current Project Management Team with the financial aspect of the project including cost, reporting, forecasting, and invoicing.
- Properly planning, scheduling, and tracking project and materials delivery to ensure that project goals are met.
- Assist in managing the billing and receivables to adhere to company guidelines.
- Oversee the training and development of team members in the skills and understanding procedures, methodology and practices expected for a successful project.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships to meet project milestones and end goals.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor the project progress.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and implementing process enhancements to streamline operations.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization, promoting a strong focus on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum of five years of project management experience in the construction industry, preferably in rigging and/or the crane industry.
- Minimum of three years of managing a diverse team of construction professionals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage project managers, vendors, and client relationships.
- Proven ability to create project timelines and budgets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work closely with an executive management team and administration team members.
