What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Pipe Fitter (MSG) position at Skilled Craft?
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work : location, quantities, and sizes of materials require
- Lay out, position, align, and fit materials according to shop drawing
- Must have experience threading pipe and working with compressed air
- Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares
- Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting
- Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
