Registered Nurse Unit Manager primary roles include:
- Communicating patient information with assigned staff during and between shifts
- Supervising charge nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
- Performing nursing functions and providing care within scope of practice
- Planning, organizing, directing and supervising nursing care
- Providing leadership and guidance to staff on the unit
Qualififed Applicants will possess:
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English; the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Unencumbered current State of CT RN License
- CPR Certification
- Nursing supervisory experience within a Skilled Nursing/LTC setting
