What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Director position at Skilled Healthcare Center?
Position Summary
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Director to manage our portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities in multiple states. In this position, your key responsibilities will be to manage corporate A/R staff, manage facility business office staff and/or Regional BOM Managers, monitor receivables and aging reports, conduct audits, and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Required to have a minimum 5 years experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable as an A/R Director for a portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Experience with Healthcare billing systems, common working files, Medicare, Medicaid, managed care billing, resident liability, renewal, Medicaid Pending, resident trust management, and familiarity with CMS regulations.
- The ability to multi-task between projects, payer types, and month-end-close deadlines.
- Strong month-end-close experience.
- Attention to detail and the ability to understand, problem solve, track, and verbalize troubled/growing accounts and payor types.
- Management experience.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work with business office managers and manage staff.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Able to communicate with confidence to executive leaders.
