Skilled Healthcare Center -

Fulltime Staffing Development Coordinator (SDC) position available at a skilled nursing facility in Chelsea, MA area!

Monday through Friday dayshift position with rotating Manager on Duty and on-call

Qualifications for Staffing Coordinator :

  • Covid-19 vaccination (primary series or booster)
  • Prior Experience as a Staff Development Coordinator, or Infection Preventionist within a nursing center or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
  • Valid nursing license in the state of Massachusetts (RN or LPN)

Responsibilities for Staff Development Coordinator

  • Ensure the center has appropriate levels of staffing and nursing care at all times.
  • Providing education to existing staff and ensuring medical documentation and education documents are orderly filed
  • Running and assisting with employee training and orientation
  • Assisting with admissions when needed, and with the overall flow of the nursing department and units
