Responsibilities / Qualifications for a business office manager
- Conduct screening of potential residents, by determining level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage
- Facilitate the resident referral and approval process in an efficient manner
- Maintain up to date knowledge of regulations governing Medicare / Medicaid / Managed Care reimbursement processes
- Business office experience in a nursing home
- One year in a long-term care or other related healthcare facility
