Final Product Release Technician
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing and interpreting drawings and other technical data requirements to perform visual and dimensional checks on finished goods before releasing shipment.
- Responsible for reviewing or checking documentation (P/O, Certificate of Conformance, Material Certificates, Routers, IRLs, etc).
- Complying with internal Quality Management System Requirements.
- Attention to visual and written detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in a fast-paced environment to meet customer needs
- Be able to work in a group or independently
- Must be able to multitask
- Organization
- Perform inspections using basic inspection equipment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic use and knowledge of inspection equipment. Including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, visual surface comparators, depth mics, etc…
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and various specifications
- Ability to work with a high magnification scope for extended periods of time
- Must pass a vision screening and color test
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to read and understand specifications
Qualifications:
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to 10 hours a day
- Must be willing to learn and obtain DPRV certification (company-paid)
- Min 2 years of experience performing QA inspection in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use and read measuring instruments.
Work Environment:
- Sitting or standing for 10-hour shifts
- Moderate physical activity such as walking and lifting is required daily
- Safety gear, such as approved safety glasses, is required at all times
- The ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts Monday – Friday
- 1st Shift 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Some days may require a later end time depending on shipments for the day.
Employment Criteria:
This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data. Therefore, candidates will need to qualify as a US Person, which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
