Responsibilities
- Issue NOMNCs and Notifications of Payment sources at the end of coverage. Clear explanation of what the documentation is, receive signatures and document the information as required by regulation.
- Assist Social Work Department with phone calls, scheduling, faxing, and filing.
- Assist the Social Worker in assisting staff, patients/families and other caregivers with application process for third party reimbursement, entitlements and community resources.
- Assists the Social Worker in outreach to community agencies in order to establish working relationships and provide access to other services.
- Attends in-service education programs, and other training.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Prior experience working in either senior care or medical office
- Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
