Responsibilities:
- Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for supervising and directing the maintenance department
- Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules for all areas of the facility and grounds
- Supervise schedules for repair and maintenance contractors
- Participate in facility inspections and develop a plan of correction for Maintenance Services deficiencies noted
- Ensure that supplies are requested, approved, and ordered according to policy.
- Maintains building appearance and accessibility for residents and staff
Qualifications:
- Maintenance Director experience
- Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Serious applicants
- Leadership qualities
- Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred
- Compassionate working with the geriatric population
