We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Administrator to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Administrator will oversee all aspects of facility management, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, patient care, and business decisions are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. As the leader of the facility, the Administrator will be responsible for driving performance and ensuring quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and align the facility’s activities with long-term goals and budgetary targets.
- Manage census growth, accounts receivable, collections, and maximize Net Operating Income while ensuring high standards of resident care.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including surveys and inspections.
- Perform daily rounds to ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan annually that focuses on quality care and maximum return on investment.
- Manage resident placement to ensure needs—physical, mental, and psychosocial—are met, and all financial criteria are satisfied.
- Monitor and enhance resident satisfaction, regularly reviewing feedback to meet customer expectations.
- Set annual performance goals for department heads and ensure timely, fair, and accurate evaluations of staff.
- Oversee facility maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents and employees.
- Uphold Resident Rights and ensure residents’ privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and handle complex emotional and operational situations.
- Proficient in managing resources, analyzing operations, and making critical business decisions.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
Education and Experience:
- Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state where the facility is located.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, with occasional overnight travel.
- Availability for 24-hour on-call emergency support.
- Physical tasks include walking, bending, lifting, sitting, fine motor skills, and ability to distinguish smells and temperatures.
- Limited exposure to environmental hazards, with adherence to safety protocols required.
