What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Director position at Skilled Nursing Facility?
Skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced, energetic and dedicated Admissions Director. Our primary focus is providing high quality nursing care and other related services for residents in need. Our services include short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and respite care.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Oversee business development efforts and census development
- Complete and implement the campus business development plan
- Build meaningful relationships with community partners
- Host and participate in community events and organizations
- Complete facility tours, lead base calls, and post-discharge wellness calls
- Act as hospital liaison as needed for neighboring hospitals
- Coordinate all new Resident admissions and re-admissions
- Demonstrate a team approach to the duties and coordinate
Requirements:
Previous experience in admissions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of admissions processes, policies, and regulations
