Summary :
highly organized and detail-oriented Centralized Scheduler to oversee the nursing scheduling for multiple facilities. As a Centralized Scheduler, you will work closely with the nursing management team to schedule in-house and agency staff while maintaining proper hours per patient day (HPPD). You will also be responsible for recruitment efforts, submitting timely reports, visiting facilities to interact with staff and meet all new hires, and overseeing different scheduling apps.
Environment :
Work will be performed primarily indoors at one of our long-term healthcare facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage a centralized scheduling system for nursing staff across three facilities.
- Coordinate with the nursing management team to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained while adhering to HPPD standards.
- Work closely with facility teams to schedule in-house and agency staff and communicate any changes.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Submit timely reports on scheduling metrics and provide regular updates to the nursing management team.
- Visit facilities regularly to interact with staff and meet all new hires.
- Oversee different scheduling apps and ensure all scheduling data is accurately entered and maintained.
- Monitor and track scheduling metrics and provide regular reports on performance and compliance.
- Troubleshoot scheduling issues and provide solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure that all scheduling-related policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all scheduled activities.
- Filling out on call log 4p-12a M-F and weekends
