Responsibilities of Receptionist

  • Greet and screen all incoming visitors and staff, directing to the appropriate office and / or resident room.
  • Give directions and / or information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc.
  • Answer the phone, determining the nature of the call, and directing the caller to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail as directed.

Qualifications for Receptionist

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • One year of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, dependable, and the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
