Join our team! Full time Cook needed at Skilled Nursing Facility

Responsibilities of Cook

Performs food preparation and cooking while maintaining all quality standards
Operates cooking equipment, following established procedures and safety precautions
Assist with menu planning, as well as review and adjust menus with supervisor to accommodate dietary changes
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe kitchen environment
Issue proper handling, labeling, and storage of food on the plate before serving

Qualifications for Cook

ServSafe Food Handling certification required

Prior work experience with food preparation

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
