Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hydrostatic Pressure Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting hydrostatic pressure tests on various components and systems to ensure their integrity and safety. Duties
- Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on pipelines, flowlines, and fabricated piping to verify their structural integrity.
- Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all testing activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop testing protocols and procedures.
- Utilize tools and equipment necessary for conducting tests, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Conduct functional testing to assess performance under pressure conditions.
- Utilize PL/SQL for data management and reporting related to test results.
- Work with DB2 databases for data retrieval and analysis as part of the testing process.
- Employ HP ALM for tracking defects and managing test cases effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hydrostatic pressure testing.
- Familiarity with release management processes and methodologies.
- Experience with functional testing techniques is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
