Job Overview:
We are currently seeking two Sheet Metal Helpers to join our team on a contract basis. The Duct Work Helper will work on-site at our client’s location in Fort Myers, FL under the supervision of the on-site superintendent. This is a day shift position and requires 2-3 years of experience doing Installs, repairs, and maintaining heat, ventilation, air conditioning equipment and controls, Metal Duct & help your teammates when needed.

This is a day shift position and requires 2-3 years of experience doing Installs, repairs, and maintaining heat, ventilation, air conditioning equipment and controls, Metal Duct & help your teammates when needed.
Roles And Responsibilities:

Assist skilled duct workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC duct systems. Also Assist in measuring and cutting metal duct materials according to specifications.

Help installing duct systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Handle tools and equipment necessary for duct work, such as drills, saws, and measuring tapes.

Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or concerns to the on-site supervisor.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in duct work.
