Skilled Trades Specialists is looking for Assemblers for a local Fabrication Shop.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and components according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Operate forklift to move materials and finished products within the warehouse
Experience:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Ability to fabricate and modify parts as needed
-Excellent pipe and structural assembly proficiency in pressure piping and process vessel manufacturing is a plus. A strong mechanical and piping aptitude, and previous experience in a similar role, are required.
Must Haves:
-Must have ability to read tape measure, level, and square proficiently
-Must be a self-starter
-Must have reasonable analytical skills
