Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe working environment by conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. This position will be in mid-size fabrication shop type of environment. Pay for the position will be determined based off of longevity in a safety position as well as overall experience. This opportunity is a M-F full time position. The hours are 5 : 30am-1 : 30pm.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in alignment with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of safety within the facility.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance audits.
- Assist in the investigation of safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to machine safety.
- Working in a manufacturing environment.
