Job Description :
Skilled Wound Care, a leading national surgical physician group servicing nursing homes for wound care, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented FileMaker Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of FileMaker functionality, with additional experience in SQL and JavaScript. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing FileMaker systems, supporting end-users with data corrections, troubleshooting, and performing bug fixes. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of developers and IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and enhance existing FileMaker solutions to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Develop new features and functionality based on business requirements using FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server.
- Collaborate with support teams to address data corrections and backend fixes in FileMaker.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve bugs in the system.
- Utilize SQL to integrate FileMaker with external data sources and systems.
- Implement JavaScript-based functionality to extend FileMaker's capabilities where appropriate.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, developers, and business stakeholders, to deliver robust and user-friendly solutions.
- Ensure the FileMaker systems adhere to best practices in design, coding, and security.
- Document workflows, code changes, and system updates for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
