Apprentice Plumbers

We are seeking skilled Apprentice Plumbers to join our team, specializing in commercial plumbing projects in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of plumbing codes, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is on going work, paying $25/hr depending upon experience, and working 60 hours a week!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of water, gas, and drainage systems in commercial structures

• Cut, measure, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand and power tools

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans

• Support rough-in and finish plumbing work on job sites

• Load, unload, and organize plumbing materials and tools

• Learn and apply local and national plumbing codes and regulations

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools related to plumbing.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check, no exceptions. 
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in medical, industrial, or high-rise commercial plumbing.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
