What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bulldozer Operator position at Skillforce?
We are currently hiring for experienced Bulldozer Operators in Richmond, VA. The ideal Bulldozer Operators is capable of operating GPS guided dozers and other large equipment. Pay is $22 - $26 based on skill set and experience.
Bulldozer Operator Essential Functions:
- Operate GPS guided bulldozers and various other heavy equipment (excavators, graders, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform a variety of tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling and other related duties as assigned
- Keep building and assigned areas of job site clean and organized to maintain a safe and productive working environment
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance tasks as usual
- Read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
Bulldozer Operator Qualifications:
- 3 years dozer experience
- GPS grade control experience
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to work extended or overtime hours as needed
