What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter - Apprentice position at Skillforce?
Skillforce Inc. is looking for a carpenter apprentice with the ability to work within a crew of other talented craftsmen. You must be detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. Pay is based on your experience and proven prior work history.
Requirements:
- Repair work and installation of doors, windows, and fixtures as needed.
- Ability to do trim work
-Ability to hang drywall
-Ability to do metal and wood framing
- Install of floors, roofs, and walls
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Ability to design your own layout is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow osha safety regulations
Qualifications:
- 2 years of proven experience as a carpenter
- Osha 10 or 30 is a plus but not required
- Must have your own tools and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
