- Clean and repair HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency, focusing on systems used in commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and diagrams for accurate diagnostics, repairs, and system modifications.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and site assessments for commercial properties, implementing necessary modifications to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely for installation and repairs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards.
- Perform physical tasks that may include climbing roofs, lifting heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs), and standing for extended periods in various environments.
- Identify wiring and cables accurately and prepare sites for installations and repairs in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Maintain service vehicles and document all repairs, maintenance, and service activities in an organized and timely manner.
- Stay updated on commercial HVAC products, industry trends, and technological advancements to provide informed recommendations and technical support to customers.
- Adapt to varying work environments, including extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and heights while maintaining a safety-first mindset.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in training junior technicians, sharing expertise and best practices.
