What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at Skillforce?
We are currently hiring for concrete finishers in Charlotte, NC. As a concrete finisher you will be responsible for creating and finishing concrete surfaces on a variety of sites including curbs, sidewalks and parking lots and has 3 years experience. Pay is $25 - $29 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Concrete Finisher Responsibilities:
- Set and align forms to the desired shape and grade.
- Prep surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling and ensuring proper forms are in place
- Assist in the mixing, pouring, and leveling of concrete
- Smooth and finish surfaces
- Apply curing compounds and other treatments to protect and enhance concrete surfaces
- Ensure finished work meets quality standards and local codes
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors to ensure timely project completion
Concrete Finisher Qualifications:
- 3 years concrete finishing experience
- In-depth knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in concrete finishing are a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Your own hand and power tools
