Epoxy Floor Installer and Concrete Polisher

Epoxy Floor Installer and Concrete Polisher Responsibilities:

• Perform concrete surface preparation, including but not limited to: shot blasting, grinding, scarifying, and patching 
• Cutting, cleaning, and filling control joints and expansion joints
• Accurately mix and apply epoxy, urethane, and other resinous coatings 
•  Apply various coating applications, including power troweling and hand troweling mortars, self-leveling overlays, etc
• Operate propane diamond grinding equipment for wet and dry concrete polishing systems to achieve desired gloss and smoothness levels
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including handheld floor grinders, walk-behind grinders, planetary grinders, burnishers, vacuums, and dust collection systems
• Apply sealers and protective coatings to finished surfaces
• Assist Floor Installers and Apprentices with the successful installation of resinous and concrete polished floors
• Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the installation or polishing process

Epoxy Floor Installer and Concrete Polisher Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• 2 years experience in installing epoxy flooring/concrete polishing
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Able to travel and work days, nights and weekends as required (projects located from North Carolina to North Richmond)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Hours:

• 40-60 hours per week
• Various shifts varying based on project (8-12 hours, night and weekends as needed)
