Job Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blueprints
-Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings
-Select the type and size of pipe needed
-Cut, bend, or thread pipes according to specifications
-Fabricate sections of piping systems
-Test systems for leaks
-Use pneumatic and hydraulic tools
-Be attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
Job Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial pipe fitting work preferred
-Currently owns a personal set of tools required for the trade preferred
-Safety and customer service oriented
-Ability to clearly communicate with everyone on job site: Superintendent, Foremen, Mechanics, Other Trades, Etc.
-Organized and detail oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities
