Journeyman Pipe Fitters

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine pipe system layouts.
• Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, including hydronic heating and cooling systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools.
• Secure pipes, fittings, and equipment using brackets, clamps, and welding tools.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to local codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter with expertise in hydronic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with hydronics and HVAC systems in commercial settings.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or licenses (as required by local regulations).
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
