Mason Job Duties:
- Lay and install brick, block, stone, and thin veneer for commercial buildings and structures.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, and shape masonry materials according to project specifications.
- Construct and repair walls, columns, and other masonry structures.
- Perform restoration, cleaning, and repair on existing masonry surfaces.
- Handle masonry tasks such as grouting, pointing, and caulking of joints.
- Finish concrete surfaces, ensuring proper grade and finish for footings, floors, and steps.
- Work with various masonry materials, including knowledge of rebar sizes and durawald.
Mason Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of hands-on masonry experience.
- Proficient in a variety of masonry techniques, with strong abilities in layout and executing projects to specifications.
- Solid understanding of different masonry materials and their proper application.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for project guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Full set of required tools for masonry work.
