Heavy Civil Project Manager Job Description
This is an urgent hiring opportunity for a seasoned Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in heavy civil construction, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and manage subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure proper insurance coverage.
- Approve project invoices and ensure accurate vendor payments.
- Implement QA/QC programs to maintain project standards.
- Lead communication with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure project delivery meets safety, cost, and timeline expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (AutoCAD, P6, HCSS HeavyBid, and Viewpoint are a plus).
- Valid driver's license and ability to manage projects within a 1-2 hour radius.
