Skillforce is currently hiring hardworking and reliable Skilled Laborers to assist with the installation of racking, shelving, and signage in commercial retail environments. The ideal candidate has experience in construction or retail fixture installation. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This project is expected to last three months, working 40hrs a week Monday-Friday, and pay is $25/hr.
- Assemble and install racking, shelving, and signage according to blueprints, plans, or supervisor instructions.
- Safely use hand and power tools to secure fixtures and materials.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures.
- Previous experience in retail fixture installation, construction, or general labor preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or using scissor lifts (certification is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects (if applicable).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
