Job Summary:
Operates trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently to and from specified destinations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates tractor, trailer, forklifts, man-lifts, scissor-lifts and/or similar equipment.
- Follow all company, OSHA, and DOT safety rules and regulations.
- Operate and transport equipment such as tractors, trailers, forklifts, and man-lifts.
- Assemble, disassemble, load, and unload materials securely.
- Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform daily inspections of trucks and equipment, reporting any defects.
- Conduct basic roadside repairs when necessary.
- Fuel and clean vehicles upon return to the yard.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of safety and transportation regulations.
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs.
Work Environment:
- Requires adherence to safety procedures and physical activity.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Pay: $25/hr-$28/hr DOE
