What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP (Direct Support Professional) position at Skillset?
WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED: Skillset is seeking compassionate and dependable support staff to assist individuals with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living to increase independence and ensure safety and wellbeing in their community (while participating in community activities and events) and within their homes (teaching independent living skills). Job duties also include supporting individuals in accessing their community for seeking and preparing for employment, as well as job coaching.
Reliable transportation is required as well as flexibility, as this job involves transporting individuals into their community and/or other communities. Other job requirements include a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, computer/internet access, CPR/1st Aid Certification, background check, and drug test. Training will be provided. This position will involve travel outside of Butler County. Full time staff are eligible for benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401K after waiting period is satisfied, plus a phone/internet stipend and mileage reimbursement for travel while on the job.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
