Job Summary:
We are seeking a Scale Weighing Operator to oversee the weighing of trucks and cargo, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating scale equipment, recording weight data, and working closely with drivers and dispatch teams to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks to ensure accurate load measurements.
- Verify that loads meet legal weight limits and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and warehouse personnel regarding weight discrepancies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a trucking, logistics, or warehouse environment (preferred).
- Basic computer skills and experience with scale software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
