Position Overview :
Our aerospace client in Windsor Locks has an opening for an Aviation Fuel Systems Mechanic. Direct-hire position, not a temp or contract, with competitive compensation DOE and a full benefits package.

Duties & Responsibilities :
Execute assigned maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks specific to aviation turbine engine fuel systems, from minor adjustments & modifications to complete rebuilds
Diagnose and apply appropriate remedial actions for any detected fuel system defects, deficiencies, or flaws
Identify and procure any requisite replacement components (piping, valves, manifolds, injectors, etc.)
Maintain activity / repair logs, document all actions, account for procured materials, report non-conforming items
Check incoming materials against specifications, reject non-conformances, return rejected materials.
Review work orders & spec sheets to ensure adherence to required parameters
Run test procedures on completed work to verify operational effectiveness
Maintain clean and orderly work area
Comply with all company safety regulations & procedures
Qualifications / Requirements :
HS diploma or GED required; technical school or advanced training a plus
Minimum 5 years experience in aerospace / aviation fuel systems (operation, maintenance & repair)
Proficiency in use of manual tools and inspection equipment (welding experience a plus)
