We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our data and reporting capabilities. This role will be responsible for defining and executing a roadmap to ensure our customers' data, reporting, and insights needs are met; across all sizes of pool professionals. You will lead our efforts in building the tooling and systems needed to derive data-driven insights that enhance decision-making.
As a key member of the product team, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and customer success to develop scalable and insightful reporting solutions.
Reporting to the Austin-based VP of Product, this role can be in Austin, TX or remote.
Product Strategy & Platform Development
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and reporting features, aligning them with business goals, other product initiatives, and customer needs.
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly data pipelines and reporting tools.
- Ensure that our reporting and data solutions are intuitive, scalable, and performant while meeting the needs of customers of all sizes.
Feature Definition & Execution
- Conduct in-depth research to understand customer pain points and industry trends to inform product decisions.
- Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Establish success metrics, monitor product performance, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure data-driven insights improve customer retention and product adoption.
- Work collaboratively with all internal functions to ensure the successful launch of new features and tools.
- Effectively communicate updates, priorities, and decisions to executives and internal teams.
Within your first 3 months you will analyze and assess customer needs and translate those into roadmap and business requirements. You’ll contribute to platform and tooling decisions to ensure our products meet the various needs of pool professionals with a clear path to delivering value for customers and the business.
- Deep experience in product management, with a strong focus on data, analytics, and experience launching reporting features within a SaaS company.
- You have directly led key initiatives as a product manager and have a proven track record of success. You work best when operating autonomously, and you’ve consistently demonstrated a strong bias for action in prior roles.
- Proven experience building and launching data-driven products, dashboards, or reporting tools in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or cloud-based services.
- Strong technical understanding of data architecture, APIs, BI tools, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI), and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills, and experience leading projects to completion with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices for handling customer data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-powered analytics or predictive modeling is a plus.
