SKIMS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Social Compliance Assistant to support and enhance our global supply chain compliance initiatives. This role will ensure adherence to social responsibility standards and ethical sourcing practices while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate should be passionate about human rights due diligence and understand supply chain compliance, auditing processes, and international labor standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the day-to-day execution of SKIMS’s social compliance program, including:
· Assisting with the supplier authorization process
· Scheduling of factory audits, including report review and follow-up efforts
· Implementing corrective action plans (CAPs) with suppliers
· Maintaining and following up on documents and agreements to ensure completion
· Ensuring alignment with company policies and evolving industry and legal requirements
· Escalating critical issues to Head of Social Compliance
· Assist with Fair Labor Association (FLA) accreditation efforts, including engagement with platforms for supply chain mapping, audit management, and traceability initiatives.
· Create tracking tools and KPI dashboards for compliance reporting, identifying trends, risks, and remediation opportunities.
· Stay informed about evolving global CSR requirements (e.g., UFLPA, UK Modern Slavery Act) and support company-wide compliance initiatives.
· Assist with internal and external communications, including guidance for suppliers and factories and inputs for stakeholder reports.
· Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· AA/BA or equivalent
· 1 year of experience in social compliance, ethical sourcing, sustainability, or a related field (recommended but not required).
· Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in an ever-changing environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Excel, Pivot Tables, PPT).
· Basic knowledge of international labor standards, human rights due diligence, and supply chain transparency best practices are a plus.
· Experience working directly with factories on compliance initiatives is a plus.
