Freelance Product Photographer

We are located in DTLA and would like someone nearby for easy drop-off and pick-up of product.

Overview

• As the product photographer, you will focus on photographing for social, advertising, web and emails for new product launches and ongoing sales cycle
• The ideal candidate will also creatively animate stop motion content
• You’ll also collaborate with the design team, Creative Director, Marketing to build visuals and introduce new techniques to bring our products to life
• Day-to-day, you will work with a team of graphic designers to execute all digital assets, style photoshoots with props, and retouch all images in preparation for use in all instances
• Must be quick to adapt to changes in direction and still maintain a high level of execution
• Builds sets, establishes lighting schematic, and composes imagery that meet creative direction
• Brings a point of view that helps communicate the intended story or outcome
• Capture imagery according to creative aesthetic using lighting, set design, composition, and overall photographic technique then delivers to the creative team once retouched
• The ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
• Maintain a high energy and professional atmosphere in the studio
• Produce photography that supports company initiatives and business objectives
• Manage color accuracy and lighting quality for optimal consistency across studios
• Identify production issues and proactively implement solutions that align with studio KPI’s
• *** This is a flexible schedule and on-call, as needed position and not full-time
