Seeking a Sales Representative for a Digital air cargo booking platform and new customer acquisition. Headquarters in Cambridge, MA, (VC-backed startup) with approximately 20 employees and growing.

Salary: Annual total compensation: $70k - $85k Incentive Bonus (based on sales contribution)

Responsibilities
· Drive our Air Cargo product expansion with proactive and energetic sales efforts, emphasizing continuous engagement in outbound sales to acquire new customers.
· Specifically target and pitch to freight forwarders, leveraging your rich experience and extensive network, preferably with contacts within the U.S. freight forwarding community.
· Cultivate strong relationships with freight forwarders and other key industry players, maximizing business opportunities.
· Travel to meet customers, demonstrate our technology, and close business deals, showcasing your ability to expand our business ambitiously.
· Collaborate with our sales & commercial team to define our sales strategy, explore new product offerings, and measure our results against industry benchmarks.
· Ensure our offerings remain competitive and work with our product team to evolve our platform to meet the changing needs of our customers.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficient in English (mandatory).
- 4-5 years of experience in acquiring new customers in air cargo sales for major IATA, IAC (Non-IATA), Non-IAC forwarders based in the U.S
- Having industry experience with airline or GSA is preferred
- Serious, responsible, and able to manage hundreds of customers accurately and proactively communicate with them (mandatory).
- Must be self-motivated to make dozens of cold calls daily and generate own leads.
- Attend industry network events and meet with prospects.
- Able to work independently in a remote environment, but also required to do field sales (mandatory).
- Must maintain regular communication with the sales team and operations to ensure sales goals are being met (mandatory).
