Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. This position requires a strong understanding of the commercial roofing processes from inception to conclusion, including permitting, inspections, coordinating material and work schedules, and talking to clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for commercial roofing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and roofing crews to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive bidding.
- Coordinating with roofing crews to ensure projects get done on schedule.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data relevant to project estimates.
- Creating safety plans for each project
Skills
- Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
