Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to add to our team. We're an independent, family owned, retail pharmacy with an old school mom and pop feel. We provide a higher level of service with a much more personal touch compared to our competitors. Providing top tier customer service is the number one thing we are looking for. Additionally, we are seeking a versatile candidate that is capable of completing a number of different tasks related to pharmacy workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all steps involved in pharmacy workflow required to fill prescriptions, including processing Rx claims and much more.
• Answer phone calls, initiate phone calls to patients, doctor's offices, insurance companies etc.
• Receive and put away medication orders.
• Place orders for both OTC and prescription medications from different suppliers.
• Help to maintain accurate inventory in pharmacy by performing periodic inventory counts.
• Assist in record keeping requirements of pharmacy documents, and help with process of Rx audits and Rx returns.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications/Skills We're Looking For:

• Pharmacy Technician License.
• Prior experience as Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a part of a team.

• Working well with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 2 years (Preferred)
