THE ROLE :
We are looking for a passionate and versatile individual eager to confront the variety of challenges involved in developing a new generation of wearable robots. As a Senior Software Engineer on our small team, you will collaborate closely with other senior engineers to enhance our software stack for a new and award-winning consumer robotics platform.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Taking charge of the entire software stack for our innovative consumer product, involving hands-on work in our San Francisco office.
- Developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for expanded functionalities, such as OTA updates, user preference settings, and real-time monitoring.
- Designing and improving a user-friendly internal GUI to help R&D teams control and refine robotic prototypes, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
- Implementing robust data collection, organization, and management features to prepare our technology for consumer readiness.
- Creating effective data visualization tools within the GUI for engineers to analyze performance, troubleshoot, and monitor system behavior over time.
- Establishing authentication workflows to secure user logins and manage data access controls effectively.
- Writing clean, scalable, and responsive code for the GUI to ensure smooth user interactions.
- Integrating with backend services and APIs for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Conducting performance testing and optimizing the GUI for real-time responsiveness.
- Documenting processes and user workflows to facilitate future scalability and updates.
- Participating in hands-on data collection and testing by wearing prototypes several hours a week.
- Contributing to software development process improvements through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Fostering a positive team atmosphere by engaging in team events and activities.

This full-time position will require you to be onsite in our San Francisco Bay Area office approximately three days a week, starting between February and April 2025.
