Job Summary:
The teacher will instruct middle school students in Drama/Speech. The teacher will cooperatively work with other classroom teachers, special services team, and complementary subject area teachers. The teacher will be responsible effectively teaching the curriculum to meet individual needs of students, evaluating student progress, and communicating progress to parents. The teacher will enhance student skills and interest in the language arts areas of creative writing, debate, public speaking and dramatic arts.
Qualifications:

District 69 seeks a Drama Teacher who values diversity and is able to integrate students’ cultural, linguistic, and ethnic backgrounds into lessons and performances. Prior experience with successfully including students with disabilities is preferred.
Performances during the day and night are required.
