Description
This position is open to candidates who are enrolled in a certified School Psychology preparation program, and are ready to complete their school based practicum requirement. Resident School Psychology Practicum Students will observe and participate in all MTSS and Special Education structures and supports in their assigned building including, psychological assessments, special education evaluations and eligibility, FBA/BIP development, student problem solving, data collection and analysis.
The District provides placements in PreK, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 6-8. There is limited grant funding to support this program. Positions will be filled on a rolling basis. Placements can be made at any of the District's buildings.
Salary and Benefits
$24,000 annual salary for 2 days/week paid every other week for 180.5 work days. The Resident Practicum Student position is not a TRS or IMRF eligible position per TRS and IMRF.
