Oakton Community Center has an immediate opening for two part-time custodians. Our team members receive a complimentary membership to our health club, Fitness First, free pool pass and golf along with other programming discounts.
Duties: Performs assigned custodial maintenance tasks necessary for the upkeep and cleanliness of the Oakton Community Center. Duties may include room set-ups and take-downs; floor mopping; floor vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; trash removal; window washing and other custodial maintenance tasks as assigned. Assists with closing the building. Keeps records and checklists of tasks performed. Performs all work to the District’s safety and cleanliness standards. Delivers excellent internal and external customer service and works cooperatively with other staff, supervisors and the patrons of the Oakton Community.
Hours: Saturday & Sunday from 2 - 8pm; May be asked to work longer shifts or cover other shifts and other days depending on the needs of Oakton Community Center.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Must be a responsible and organized adult and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). At least two years of custodial maintenance experience is preferred. The individual we seek must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision. Experience operating custodial equipment and machines is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Salary : $15 - $17
