Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and motivated Custodian Lead to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations, you will be responsible for supervising custodial staff, ensuring efficient use of time and resources, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach custodial staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, absences, and performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders as needed.
- Assist with customer service and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of individual evaluations and training programs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-3 years of previous custodian or janitorial experience preferred.
- Previous leadership skills or experience working in a supervisory role is an asset.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this position include lifting up to 45 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks. The ability to work effectively under pressure for extended periods is also required.
