A server, also known as a waiter or waitress, is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a positive dining experience for patrons. They act as the primary point of contact between the restaurant and its guests, requiring strong communication, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanor. Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting Guests:Welcoming customers, showing them to their tables, and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Taking Orders:Accurately recording food and drink orders, making recommendations, and communicating them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serving Food and Drinks:Delivering orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Ensuring Customer Satisfaction:Checking in on customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals, addressing any issues promptly, and escalating concerns to management if needed.
• Handling Payments:Delivering bills and collecting payment, whether cash or credit card.
• Maintaining a Clean Environment:Assisting with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
• Knowledge of Menu:Familiarity with the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential substitutions.
• Teamwork:Collaborating with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 25 per week
