The Environmental, Health & Safety Leader oversees facility compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, SCAQMD, HMMD, EMWD, and industry-specific safety and environmental regulations while supporting manufacturing operations. The role requires a technical and hands-on approach to ensuring environmental compliance and driving a proactive safety culture. The EHS Leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental sustainability while ensuring uninterrupted facility operations. In this role, you will focus on the following:
Environmental, Health, and Safety Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and manage EH&S (Environmental, Health & Safety) programs for a semiconductor manufacturing environment, including hazardous materials handling, chemical safety, and cleanroom protocols
- Oversee the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, SCAQMD, HMMD, EMWD, and local environmental and safety regulations
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead all environmental, health, and safety compliance activities and reporting requirements
- Establish EHS goals, metrics, and KPI performance benchmarks
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Establish and deliver EHS training programs, ensuring workforce compliance with safety protocols
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections, audits, and investigations
- Collaborate with site managers to promote safety
Emergency Preparedness and Response
- Oversee emergency response team and ERT equipment. ERT Staffing and ERT training
- Coordinate and lead ERT training and evacuation drills
- Act as primary contact during emergencies. Ensuring effective response and resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
- 8-10 years of experience in EH&S management in semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing industries
- 5 years of leadership experience in environmental, safety, and health operations
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor environments, hazardous materials management, and industry-specific requirements
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, SCAQMD, HMMD, EMWD, and local environmental regulations

The actual starting base salary will be determined based on role-related criteria, including educational qualifications or equivalent experience, relevant work history, and the skills required for the role. This is not an exhaustive list, as some roles may demand unique skills or expertise.
Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
