Description :

Skorpios Technologies, Inc., an innovator in heterogeneous integration of silicon photonic technology and semiconductor development, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to drive business growth for our Foundry Services and Communication Products. This role is responsible for prospecting, initiating contact, developing relationships, and closing deals with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in sales activities, engaging directly with customers and driving revenue through strong communication and negotiation skills. In this position, you will :

  • Proactively generate and develop new business opportunities in semiconductor foundry services and communication products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their technical and business needs.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and follow-ups to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Track and manage sales opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, and marketing) to align customer needs with company offerings.
  • Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to refine sales strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to expand the business.
  • Travel as needed

Requirements :

  • Strong sales acumen with experience in B2B sales, semiconductor foundry services, or communication products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently to meet sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical aspects of semiconductor and optical communication products.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in technical sales, semiconductor sales, foundry services, or related industries.
