Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Deburr Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing burrs and sharp edges from machined parts under a microscope to ensure quality and precision. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and instruments in a fast-paced environment. Shift hours are 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Utilize microscopes, power tools and hand tools to deburr and finish machined components.
- Read and interpret prints to understand specifications and tolerances.
- Employ precision measuring instruments, to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with machining and tooling teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to the deburring process.
Qualifications
- Experience in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with tooling processes and techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards in manufacturing environments.
- Must be able to use power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
